Suzanne Semenson, DPT

Suzanne received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. In 2008, Suzanne relocated to New York City from Chicago, where she had been working in orthopedics and sports medicine, to specialize in dance medicine. She is an active member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science and the Performing Arts section of the APTA. Regularly seeking out continuing-education courses in this specialty area is important to her in further developing her skills and staying at the forefront of dance medicine to provide the highest quality of care to the dance population.

Suzanne brings a strong movement-based background to the practice with over 20 years of experience in studying/teaching classical ballet, modern dance, yoga, and martial arts. Her commitment to health and fitness has pushed her to complete the Chicago Marathon in 2007.
