Strength Control
This part of exercise is often left out and for preventing injuries is the most important. This is the stability component of
muscle function that is core to the dynatonic principles for normal functional control of everyday actions as well as high level
demands of dance and sports. Any exercise system that does not address the stability(isometric-balance and control) and well as mobility(isotonic- power and work) aspect of muscle function are
not comprehensive and inadequate for prevention or rehabilitation conditioning.
PAPT has developed a program that incorporates dynatonic action into every personalized exercise
program developed for each patients particular injury and needs. Your home program will allow you to finally find balance in your musculoskeletal system as we provide you with
strength control exercises that address your needs. Please look below for a few examples of the many exercises that we have developed or incorporated into our
home programs to address this inherent body weakness.
Please re-read the disclaimer on the home page before you do any of the exercises found on this web site
