FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:  Is housing provided for your interns?
A:  Housing is not provided for our interns.  Interns in the past have recommended using craigslist for locating sublets.  The average cost of housing can vary from $700 and up/month depending on the location and number of roommates you are sharing the apartment with.

Q:  Is there a dress code?
A: The dress at PAPT is casual.

Q:  What can I expect my hours to be?
A:  Hours may vary according to the Clinical Instructor you will be assigned to.  Our office is open Monday through Saturday some days as early as 9:00am and as late as 7:30pm.

Q:  Are there any reading materials that are recommended to review prior to my arrival?
A:  Yes.  It is strongly recommended that you review orthopedic special tests and anatomy.  We will also send you research articles, exercise handouts, and other of PAPT’s injury prevention/documentation materials to prepare you when treating the performing artist.

Q:  What do you normally do for lunch?
A:  We are located in the heart of Times Square.  There are a variety of deli’s within 1 block of our building.  If you decide to bring your lunch, we have a large refrigerator to store your food.
